Working with 1100 Architect, Eurostruct turned a series of small rooms at Brooklyn Friends School in Downtown Brooklyn into an open, flexible library and makerspace of about 2,300 square feet. The layout gives the Lower and Middle Schools their own zones, which can merge into one large room through a central classroom with sliding glass doors. A shared makerspace with 3D printers and workstations supports hands-on learning. Eurostruct's work included new ceiling finishes and new louver openings at the roof bulkhead for ventilation. The project was completed in 2018.
