Working with Architecture Research Office, Eurostruct renovated and united Dia Art Foundation's three adjacent Chelsea buildings, two one-story former warehouses and a six-story building, into a single 32,500-square-foot home. The project created 20,000 square feet of connected street-level galleries and new brick facades. The eastern building gained a lobby, bookstore and 150-person talk space on the ground floor, with offices, a library and education spaces above. The work included new interior connections between buildings, replaced roofs and skylights, and full building systems upgrades that preserved each structure's industrial character."
