hauser & wirth 443.
Working with architect David Bench, Eurostruct renovated Hauser & Wirth's space on West 18th Street in Chelsea, a two-story industrial building built in 1920 for the Consolidated Gas Company. The work reconfigured the interior with new non-structural partitions and refinished floors, walls and ceilings throughout, while keeping the building's historic industrial character. The space houses Hauser & Wirth Editions, the gallery's bookstore, a learning hub, a small amphitheater for talks and performances, and offices for its New York team. It is also the U.S. headquarters of Hauser & Wirth Publishers.
